Cars

I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago. I went to check on the boys and they were quietly playing with their race track together. It was so sweet. (Please excuse the mess. They have decided that the proper place for all their toys is on the floor).

 Sharing and playing nicely.

They noticed I was there taking pictures.

Zack's turn to race the cars.

Now it's Nick's turn.

Valentine's Day

We had a nice little Valentine's Day. Here are just a few pictures we got of the kids.

Zack reading the Pooh Bear Valentine's Book.

The boys were pretty excited to have some chocolate hearts to eat.

Hello Again

It has been a busy few months. We went to Washington for Thanksgiving then there was Christmas, New Year's, and everyday life. Also, I think someone in our house is sick at all times. And then that person shares it with another person who shares it with another person and then before you know it we are all sick. I have never been sick so many times in such a short time span. There must be lots of new bugs in Wyoming that we aren't used to.

So what else have we been up to when we aren't busy being sick?

Andy is busy at work. I am not sure what all he does there, but he works very hard to keep a roof over our head and food on the table. He is also working in the Elders Quorum at Church which keeps him out of trouble.

I don't even know what to say about myself. I run around frantically throughout the day attempting to keep the house in order and the kids alive. I don't always succeed with the former, but so far I have been able to do the latter.

Macy is a little chatter box. She is getting really good at telling us what she needs and wants which is very helpful. She loves to play pretend and sing all day long. Pooh is still her bestest friend, but she also enjoys Princesses and Tinker Bell.

The boys are so silly. They are always making me laugh. They both love to bop to music particularly Go Diego Go and Run-DMC. Nick really enjoys putting things on his head and wondering around with them and  Zack is about the bounciest boy I've ever met. He gets really excited and starts to bounce up and down on his knees really fast.  They also like to get into trouble, pulling things off the table if they can reach and pulling all the cans out the cupboard.

While we haven't been 100% healthy, we have been very happy. Hopefully I will be able to do a better job of  filling everyone in on our many adventures.

A couple pictures in case you have forgotten what we look like.

Our Wild Boys

We had to take a little break this weekend because after all the partying and festivities last week, we all got sick. There were runny noses, low grade fevers, coughs, upset stomachs and all sorts of other unpleasantness. We are now on the mend and so here are some pictures of our little wild boys playing in their room. Believe it or not, this room was spotless and then in a matter of about 10 seconds the boys turned it upside down.

Birthday Party

The boys' birthday party was this evening. Because they have no idea what is going on, it was pretty low-key. We had a family from our Ward over and Andy's college roommate, Brad, and his family were passing through town so they came over as well. We had pizza and cupcakes and enjoyed Sports themed decorations. The kids played and had fun and the adults chatted. I think the boys' first birthday was a success. They are now fast asleep, exhausted from their exciting week of first Halloweens and first Birthdays.

 Zack checking out his gift.

 Nick tasting his gift.

Playing with the cool tissue paper.

Tissue paper is a pretty fun toy.

 Birthday cupcakes.

 Eating some cupcake.

Zack showing off his little mustache.

I decorated the cupcakes keeping with the Sports theme.

Our Birthday display. Andy had me put up his autographed picture of Yogi Berra because it was on theme.

The Birthday sports banner I cut out with my Cricut.

I couldn't find any Sports themed treat bags so I just made some. The "treats" included crayons, sports notebooks, sports stickers, and sports hacky sacks. Sports everything. Andy was very proud.

Today the boys turned one year old! Here are some pictures of our celebration.

The boys had a special dinner of chicken nuggets. They loved them.

Zack loved his chicken nuggets so much that he stole some off his sister's plate.
