Macy Turns 21 Months

Macy turned 21 months on February 2. Here are a few things she has been up to lately:

Macy loves to sing. Anyone who knows her knows that she sings and hums all day long. Lately she loves to sing the ABC Song and Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam.

Macy is learning her letters. She loves to point them out on the TV, clothes, books, everywhere! I often hear her saying, "It's a Y", "O", "K", "E", "A", "U", "I" and many others.

Some of Macy's new words and phrases include, "Uh oh. It's broken", "want milk", "water", "chocolate", and "hair".

Macy likes to comb her hair with her Princess brush. We may have a little Princess Ariel on our hands because she also likes to try and comb her hair with her toothbrush and fork.

One day this past month I looked over at Macy while she was in her booster seat eating and she had her arms folded and eyes closed. She whispered a few words then said, "Amen!" Her first prayer.

From My Sweetheart

I wandered into the bedroom the other day and this is what I found on the bed. Andy left it there, "just because". What a sweet husband I have. And so creative too!

Sweethearts Candy- "I am lucky because you are my sweetheart"
Riesen Candy- "You are the riesen I get up in the morning"
Hot Tamales Candy- "I have the hots for you"
100 Grand Candy- "Our love is worth more than 100 grand "
Kiss Bubble Bath- "I'm bubbly all over with love and excitement"
Honey- "You are sweeter than honey"
Hunt's Ketchup- "I could hunt all over the Earth and not find a more perfect person"
Tootsie Pops- "I can't lick any of my problems without you"
Candle- "You light up my life"
Moon Pie- "Prettiest girl from here to the moon"

Nick and Zack Turn Three Months

Nick and Zack turned three months old yesterday. They are really fun to be around these days. They are both "talking" and smiling a lot. It is interesting that they each speak in their own language. Nick says a lot of "mmmmm, mammmm mammm" and Zack says a lot of "ahhhh, ahhh, ahhhh". They are such good little boys and are sleeping about six hours a night. They also are both really strong and try hard to sit up because they don't like to lean back. Both boys love when we sing to them. Their favorite song these days is "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam". They both get great big smiles on their faces when they hear it. Here are a few other things they have been up to lately:

Nick
Nick loves the ceiling fan we have in the living room. He looks up at it all the time and just smiles.
Nick has really enjoyed being rocked to sleep. There were a couple weeks where we had to carry him around until he fell asleep, but now he only requires that occasionally.
Nick really loves his bouncy chair. He likes it more than his swing these days and often falls asleep when he is in it.

Zack
Zack really enjoys munching on his hand. I often see him trying to cram the whole thing in his mouth.
Zack is a little boxer. He likes to put his fists in the air and wave them around as if he were in a boxing match.
Zack "yells" a lot and often at the end of meals. He will stop eating and just start yelling.
