Thanksgiving Weekend Preview

We went down to Utah for Thanksgiving. We all had a wonderful time. Here is just a little preview of our fun. Macy LOVES Andy's Aunt's dog!

I Am Thankful For . . .

this Country and all the freedoms we have. I can't believe I didn't think to talk about this one on Veterans' Day! I am so thankful to all the servicemen and women who are serving now and who have served previously that keep our country free.

I Am Thankful For . . .

a living Prophet. I am so thankful that our Prophet speaks to us often and leads us and guides us today. Things have changed so much since the prophets of the Book of Mormon or Bible so it is so wonderful to a modern day Prophet that can help us with the challenges of today.

I Am Thankful For . . .

the basics. . . clothes, shelter, and food. We aren't hungry and we aren't cold. We don't have much, but at least we have our basic needs met and that is a lot to be thankful for.

I Am Thankful For . . .

the Gospel. I am thankful for our church and the knowledge that families can be together forever.

I Am Thankful For . . .

my electric blanket. As it starts to get cold out (and even sometimes during the middle of the summer) I am very thankful that I have my amazing electric blanket to keep me nice and toasty. What a wonderful invention.

I Am Thankful For . . .

Extended family. I am so thankful to have extended family on both sides that are willing to let us stay with them when we would otherwise be homeless. It is so nice that we have a place to stay in Pullman and Spokane other than the Union Gospel Mission, of course.

I Am Thankful For . . .

Andy. He is a wonderful husband, father, and friend. I don't know what I would do without him!!!

I Am Thankful For . . .

I copied this idea from my cousin's blog. I have been a little down lately, so I decided that I really need to focus on things I am thankful for. I'll try to post one thing every day this month.

Today I am thankful for my little Macy Belle. She always makes me smile. How could you not love this sweet little girl?

Macy's First Halloween!
