Fall Fun Day 56 (Monday, September 20)

Today Andy came home!!!! We were sooo excited. Our family has been apart for nearly two months (a full two February's). It was hard, I would not recommend it, and I NEVER want to do it again. Thus ends the every day blogs. We still want to blog often to keep everyone up-to-date on Macy and how she is growing and changing, but you all won't be privy to the in's and out's of every single day of our lives . . . sorry! :)

Fall Fun Day 55 (Sunday, September 19)

Macy has been hating here baths lately. She screams at the top of her lungs until I take her out. We decided to try and bathe her upstairs for a change of scenery. She started to get fussy (as you can see in the picture below- she looks terrified), but Uncle Ryan and Uncle Eric sang to her so she stayed calm until we were finished getting her clean!

Fall Fun Day 54 (Saturday, September 18)

We didn't do much today and we didn't get a picture until after Macy was asleep.

Fall Fun Day 53 (Friday, September 17)

Today was fun because so many people were home to play with Macy! Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Dusty, and Uncle Eric!


All of a sudden I heard a munching noise. I looked over to find Macy with this in her mouth . . . her toes!!!

I wanted to try a little experiment and see if Macy could sit up by herself . . . and she could! She sat for about ten seconds before starting to tip!

She's looking at the camera like, "what are you staring at?"

Fall Fun Day 52 (Thursday, September 16)

I was sick again today so Macy spent a lot of time with Grandma Molly.

Here is Macy reading a book on Grandma and Grandpa's bed while Grandma Molly vacuumed. I took her a bit by surprise.

But then Macy gave me a big smile!

Fall Fun Day 51 (Wednesday, September 15)

Today I was sick so Macy had to do a lot of playing with everyone else. I tried not to hold her too much because I didn't want to get her sick.

Fall Fun Day 50 (Tuesday, September 14)

Today Macy played with Mommy and Grandma Molly again!

Except for when she decided that she wanted to hold it and possibly put it in her mouth (and when I say possibly, I really mean definitely).

Here is Macy at about 11:00 PM. She is awake, smiling, and happy as can be.

Fall Fun Day 49 (Monday, September 13)

Today we ran errands and Macy played with Mommy and Grandma Molly. We were so busy that we only got one picture . . . after Macy was asleep.


Macy was put in bed straight up and down and under the blanket. She moved to this position after a few hours!

Fall Fun Day 48 (Sunday, September 12)

Today we went to Church and wore our matching outfits for the Pullman Ward! Church wore both Macy and me out so we took some long naps and Macy went to bed early!

Fall Fun Day 47 (Saturday, September 11)

Today was September 11. I thought a lot today about what happened on this day in 2001. It was a day that I will never forget. Macy's dad and I are so grateful to live in this country, to have the freedoms that we have, and to have men and women fighting so that we can continue to live in this country and have these freedoms. We have loved having the opportunity to live in New York City and be able to spend time at Ground Zero. We hope that we can raise Macy to have an appreciation for her country. We also hope to be able to one day return to New York so Macy can learn about what happened there before she was born so that she also will never forget.

Fall Fun Day 46 (Friday, September 10)

Today we ran errands and shopped. Macy was a trooper and so was Grandpa (we spent a loooong time in the craft stores). We didn't get too many pictures, but here are some of Macy crawling all over Grandma Molly.



Macy started in an upright position, but then leaned over to nibble on Grandma's arm.

Fall Fun Day 45 (Thursday, September 9)

Today Macy and I drove back down to Pullman. Macy's uncles have really been missing her!


This morning Macy was SCREAMING (in a good way), but when I put the camera on her, she stopped.


Football season has started. Here is Macy with Uncle Ryan and Ryan's friend, Sidney before their first game.

Fall Fun Day 44 (Wednesday, September 8)

Another fun day at home for Macy and me. I got a shower and got some laundry done, but Macy was really wanting to be held a lot today. This inspired me to order a baby sling to carry her around in. When I am at my parents house Macy never touches the ground because there are so many people around, but when I am by myself that's not always possible. Hopefully the sling will help keep her close and not spoil her too much! :)

Fall Fun Day 43 (Tuesday, September 7)

Summer is over so I cannot call the posts "Summer Vacation" anymore. I have decided to go with a fall theme and call the posts "Fall Fun" keeping the continuing day tally. Macy and I aren't going back to New York City, just counting the days until Andy is back with us and we can be together as a family again. Until then we will have daily blogs documenting Macy as she grows and changes!

Today Macy and I stayed at home and played together. I was tired for some reason so I got Macy to take some good, long naps with me. We had a good time together!

Summer Vacation Day 42 (Monday, September 6)

Today Uncle Kyle stopped by to say goodbye to Macy. He is off to BYU-I for school. Macy was excited to see him, but sad to say goodbye.

Summer Vacation Day 41 (Sunday, September 5)

Today Macy got to wear the special outfit I made for her. I was inspired by Girls' Weekend to make a skirt for Macy and for some extra fun I made a hair piece to match. I made a matching outfit for me because what is better than a little matching family . . . nothing is!

Summer Vacation Day 40 (Saturday, September 4)

Today we went up to Spokane to visit the Hendricksons! We are excited to spend Labor Day Weekend with them!

We took this picture yesterday evening before Macy went to bed. She would grab Grandma Molly's face and give her a great big kiss!

Summer Vacation Day 39 (Friday, September 3)

Today we got to see my cousin when she had a surprise layover in Lewiston. It was so much fun and great to see her and her husband!
