How could I forget one of our favorite celebrity sightings?!? We saw Mitt Romney at church in September. It was fabulous!!!

This was awesome, she has lots a rhythm and flows very well. Something for me to aspire to when I get into politics.

If you get bored she is the 2nd and 4th minute (but he is pretty good also)

Celebrity Sightings

So we have been living in New York City and today we had our second celebrity sighting. Our first one was in December. While we were walking down 42nd Street on our way to the Dallas BBQ for some dinner we saw none other than Barry Williams from The Brady Bunch going into Chevy's Restaurant. It was so exciting I could barely eat. (The food there was really good though, I suggest it to anyone coming to NYC).

Today on our way home from shopping at the BBB (Bed, Bath, and Beyond) we saw Hoda Kotb! Hoda co-hosts the last hour of NBC's Today Show with Kathie Lee Gifford. Again, VERY exciting. I have included some pictures of Barry and Hoda in case any of you are unfamiliar with these celebrities, and so you can see what we saw (though of course our sighting was in person) and be oh so jealous! :)

St. Valentine's Day

I woke up at like 7:30 this morning and couldn't sleep. I read for a while then I got a great idea. "I will make breakfast in bed for Andy," I thought. So I did. Here is a picture of the finished product before I went in to wake Andy up:

He's a little more excited here, but he looks a little drugged because I woke him up, he felt sick, and I put a camera flash in his face.

So I was laying in bed this morning and my wonderful wife forgot my name. How did I discover this, you may ask. You decide, here is her question.

"Are you Antsy"

I should not assume the worst, I guess it might just be that she is developing a NYC accent and putting plurals where they do not belong. Like where are yous guys going?

But just for the record, my name is Andy!

Its a small scary world after all

This week I met with the head of the fitness center at the Pfizer World Head quarters. Which was amazing, after they pay the $480 a year to use the facility you get.
1. Unlimited use of the facility.
2. They have TV's and DVD players on the machines.
3. They have spinning DVD's so that you can do a class at the bike without they pressure of the class.
4. Can take 3 fitness classes (with the top rated instructors in Manhattan)
5. Twice a month you can go over your workout with a Personal Trainer.
6. They provide all the clothes except shoes. (ex. shirt, sports bra, jock strap, socks, etc)
7. The locker room provide all hygiene products (ex. razor, shaving cream, lotion, etc)
8. They have Physical Therapists on site, and with a prescription you get free, unlimited sessions.
9. They have fruit for you to eat during or after your workout.

But back to the point of the story. When I told the Director that I was from Washington State he replied "That is crazy, I was kidnapped in Spokane back in '88"

Randall's No More

I received an email yesterday from the Soccer Director and Asphalt Green. He informed me that Randall's island no longer has enough money in their budget to run Soccer this spring.

Which means that since schools in Harlem and The Bronx already cannot afford PE and Health teachers, the students will receive no health or fitness this spring. It would not be so bad except that East Harlem is tops in the nation in; Asthma, Childhood Obesity and very high in Diabetes.

Oh it also stinks that I will not get to work with the kids (or make the money I would have made)
