We Are Thankful For . . .

I apologize for not continuing with my list of things I am thankful for. Our whole family got sick right before Thanksgiving, then we went to Utah, etc., etc., etc. Anyway, here are the top 22 things we are thankful for (in no particular order) along with pictures from our Thanksgiving weekend.

1. Studded snow tires that make our drives between Pullman and Spokane safer.

2. Texting so that we can keep in touch with family and friends quickly and easily.

3. Hand sanitizer so we can keep our hands clean anywhere.

4. Modern medicine so we can live longer, healthier lives.

5. Blogs so that we can keep family and friends up to date with stories and pictures.

6. Baby Einstein because it keeps Macy happy when she might otherwise be a bit cranky.

7. Lotion that keeps us moisturized in the dry weather.

8. Christmas music that keeps us in the spirit of the holidays all season long.

9. Arts and crafts stores that provide us with all sorts of wonderful supplies for all our artsing and crafting.

10. Church programs. Relief Society, Priesthood, Youth Programs, and Primary help us learn, grow, and stay active in the Church.

11. The Internet because we have so much information available to us so quickly.

12. Sports because they teach us about teamwork and keep us entertained (well at least they keep Andy entertained).

13. DVR because we can watch all our favorite shows anytime we want.

14. Cameras so we can capture all sorts of memories and precious moments.

15. Education so we can learn about our world and things that interest us and use that education to work and make a living.

16. Nature because it is beautiful to look at and provides us with lots of fun hobbies and activities.

17. The Temple for its beauty and all the wonderful blessings that come from visiting it often.

18. Dishwashers. We didn't have one in New York and it is so nice to have one in Pullman and Spokane . . . especially to clean bottles with.

19. A Heavenly Father who knows us and loves us.

20. The rain because it washes the Earth, helps things grow, smells good, and is followed by a rainbow.

21. Children's hymns because they are sweet, simple, and true.

22. Books for learning and entertainment.
